One of our most successful events of 2022 also made a return this September as part of SocialFuse Festival 2023- Chesterfield SOUP 2, an evening of homecooked food, pitches from local organisations and changemakers, and crowdfunding to help turn dream projects and pitches in our local community into a reality.
From a performance of the new Baton of Hope Anthem by the Georgia Bird Foundation Choir to an introductory talk from Ellie Scott- the Georgia Bird Foundation founder- who was awarded the grand crowdfunding pot at the previous Chesterfield SOUP event, our guests and pitchers were fully immersed in what has already proven to be a robust legacy of Chesterfield SOUP pitchers.
Congratulations to Lunar Mind, who were near-unanimously awarded the grand funding prize of £400, congratulations also to Grassmoor Meet & Greet and Cannon Mill, who were awarded the follow up funding of £200 and £100 respectively.
It’s been a while- too long- since our last Chesterfield SOUP event, but Chesterfield SOUP 2 proved to us that this a truly special event, one that is already going from strength to strength and catching the interest of even more people with every event!
