Swanwick Memorial Hall

In June 2026, we took on a 10-year lease to manage Swanwick Memorial Hall in Old Whittington.

We are passionate about creating inclusive, accessible spaces that support local communities, wellbeing and creativity.

One of our flagship initiatives, Chesterfield Community Roast, began at Swanwick Memorial Hall and has grown into a much-loved regular event bringing people together through shared food and conversation. We are excited to bring it back to its original home as part of the Hall’s future programme.

Our vision is to create a thriving, sustainable community hub that:

• Reduces isolation and loneliness
• Supports health and wellbeing
• Encourages creativity and learning
• Provides affordable space for local groups
• Hosts community meals and events
• Creates opportunities for people of all ages

The Hall is bookable for community usage.
