Did anyone see Unify perform at the King’s Coronation Concert.
Televised live last night on BBC TV, Unify – the all deaf sign performance group – performed as part of the Coronation Choir!
14 of their members attended this prestigious event and signing the song “Brighter Days” by Emeli Sande with other choirs from across the country who will be singing.
The group worked over the last two months preparing for this mighty task, working together to settle on the signs and also being featured on the BBC1 documentary about the Coronation Choir.
I hope you will join me in supporting Unify who are doing this for BSL, and for everyone who is part of the deaf community whatever their background.
We are unified in our love for BSL and signed song and now Unify takes this to Windsor Castle to share with the world!
