One of the most meaningful things that we believe can be achieved in our advancement towards a more accessible and equal future are increased opportunities to enjoy life outside of any box a person may feel their disability- visible or invisible- may restrict them to.
Alongside our bread-and-butter of accessible engineering and technology, we have also always engaged with projects that introduce new opportunities and paths forward in life, education and work to everyone, regardless of disability or their cultural, social or economic background.
This is why it was a pleasure to attend and be a part of the Fairplay Open Day.
A networking and socialisation event that showcased the work of Fairplay and their partner organisations alongside accessible garden games, full catering and musical performances for families of young people and children with disabilities and additional needs in our home of Derbyshire.
As important as we believe the continued work towards a more open and inclusive future is, sometimes it can be a reward in and of itself to admire the joy brought into the lives of young people living with disabilities by companies just like Fairplay.
