Rother Active Youth are a community group set up to provide extra-curricular activities for children based in the Rother area (Grangewood, Brampton, Boythorpe and Birdholme) of Chesterfield.
After our successful electronic card making session during the Easter half-term, we returned again this May half-term to make Art Robots with the children and their parents.
The session taught the families about basic electronic circuits which resulted in a “robot” made from a battery, mini-motor, plastic cup, a cork and felt-tip pens that drew circular graphics – similar to a spirograph.
