Kakou are pleased to announce that we have recently started working on a project with the University College London Institute of Education (UCL IoE) and the Royal Academy of London.
As part of our social remit, we are committed to working with other organisations to research and innovate new methodologies.
We are lucky to have the expertise of Prof. Lucy Green and Dr. David Baker of the UCL IoE who have carried out extensive research into the teaching and experiences of visually-impaired musicians.
From the Royal Academy of Music we have research Dr Anthony Gritten and world renowned conductor Sian Edwards. Sian is Head of Conducting at the Academy having conducted most of the world’s leading orchestras and opera companies.
We can’t say too much at present about we are up to, but we are very excited to see where this collaboration takes us!
